1.Washing your hair less. That’s right! In all honesty,your color should last longer the less that you wash it. I also recommend waiting 3-4 days until washing your hair for the first time after a hair color appointment!

2.Using color safe/color preserving products. This is huge! If you’re investing in your hair color,the right products at home is a must to maintain it. Your hairstylists always have recommendations if you’re in need of anything!

3.Using heat protectant! Especially for my blondies(you’ll turn yellow/brassy without it!) I always recommend using one for wet hair before blow drying,and one on dry hair before hot tools. No heat protectant and also using high heat can literally discolor your hair! And not only that,it’s frying and drying, we don’t want that!

4.Doing a mask treatment at least once a week. This is really good for everybody to do! Depending on seasonal changes,dryness in your house,sun exposure, how often you use heat,and so on...your hair needs extra hydration. Even if you put a mask in for 15 min while you shower is better than nothing!

5.Pre-booking your sessions! Depending on what your goals are, it is crucial to pre-book ahead to maintain and treat your hair. For something more high maintenance that could be 4-6 weeks.
